Barney has been involved in farming his whole life.
Since just a little boy he was helping on the family farm in Jennings KS. After moving to Sharon Springs he worked as a mechanic at the local Whitzel and Rhea Case IH dealership. When the dealership switched from Whitzel and Rhea to Ag Power Barney moved into a salesman position.
In 2016 Barney and his wife Marilyn purchased Lock’s Electric. Since then he has been selling Whirlpool made appliances, Crosley GE washers and dryers, and moved into selling JD Skiles Banjo Fittings, anything Beavery Valley Supply has to offer, and of course used equipment! They have two children Stephani and Andrew, and two grandchildren. Stephani works along side Barney to help get you the best service they can offer. The two of them look forward to serving the small town community with smiles on their faces.
